Car is a 1.2 16v Dynamique (2003) Car keeps stalling/cutting out when traveling at speed, mostly when cruising on motorway at 70mph. It did it a few month back every other day, then it went a way for a while but its started doing it again. Any ideas?? Thanks

My brothers 1.2 16v is having problems starting now and again. Been told it could be the TDC Sensor, just wondering where abouts this sensor is??? Anyone?

Spoke to (www.hiflowheads.co.uk) this afternoon and the guy reckons he can do the conversion for around £1000 labour. Anyone dealt with HiFlowHeads before? They are based in Scotland.

Done a bit of planning this morning, had a look through Megane Haynes manual and the Clio Haynes manual at the wiring diagrams. Looks good, well buzzin now and up for it.

Does he do the conversions? Tempted to have a go myself but it would take me weeks doing it inbetween work and i don't like my car being off the road that long.

Not sure which 172 the bits will be from, that will be decided when i get the parts (whole kits can be picked up easy enough), are they different? Its cable throttle. Its a Megane Coupe (Phase 2) This one:

i've heard you can have problems with the immobilser. Whats UCH? The is a box in the engine bay with 4-5 relays in it.

The car is a 1999, nearly a 2000. I understand the mechanical side of it, its just the loom i'm trying to understand.

Yeah i know mate. Just making some enquires on this engine conversion, some garage in Pemberton says he can do it for £350 labour, but it seems a bit cheap to me.

Who's the best people to talk to about a 172 conversion? Anyone done this conversion themselves? Spoke to k-tec and that want £2k for labour. What difficulties are involved, i've heard the wiring can be awkward, something to do with the immobiliser.
