I'd also check the 3 black\brown relays in the engine fuse box as these suffer from corrosion 2. Also check your battry a mate had same issue when his battery was on it way soon as new battery was fitted started first time and has been fine since
You not the first owner of thje car so you don't no what kind of life its had before you got it. So last owner could of rode the clutch before you got it or your clutch release bearing could be leaking onto the clutch plate causeing it to slip
The early 182s did have an issue with the coolant temp sensor and wirieing connection there is a modification were you change the sensor and wiring connector
In the cases I have seen with this fault its usually a white wire coming from the main injection relay in the engine fuse box [1 of the 3 black or brown relays] to the injection computer that's has broken or corroded if you follow the wires from the relays to the injection computer you should...
How old is the car ? As said I doubt ud get anything from the dealer for the brakes if it was sold knowing it needed a service and there service items altho if you made enough fuss youy might get a contribution towards the brakes as abit of good will as per the management light and not idleing...
As said above if there is a seat its needs a seat belt if seats are removed its an advisory no rear seats fitted at time test unable to check seatbelts so just remove the rear seats it will pass
When your car dose not start wiggle the tdc connector then try and start the car if it starts your probably looking at a new tdc sensor and wiring connector if you get 1 from Renault
Did you replace the wireing connector to the temp sensor as early 182s had an issue with the sensor and wiring connector and renault issued a repair kit with the sensor and a short loom and connector to wire in
Ok I'll have it in the this weekend to fit a new mounting and tweak the fitment abit more and hopefully get it perfect so I'll take a few pics along the way
Right after pissing around under the car on drive way iv got the exhaust to stop rattling going to put it on a ramp at weekend and see if I can fit it abit better if not. Take some pics
Have also jsut noticed the the exhaust is now rattling on the heat shield due the the lack of clearance where it goes over the rear axle abit gutted really has any 1 eles had this problem
Has any 1 got one of these exhaust fit ? Who dose your centre pipe fit the back box seems to me there's not enough bend in the pipe where it goes over the rear axel as is closer to one side or is this how its ment to be ?
