yeh the lads i know class the rear adjustor's as "helpers", but the rear spring "hole" at the bottom is bigger then the rubber base and the rear adjuster makes it so it is snug in the rubber base. it is secure so it wont come out but it wont be secure side to side. So if i remove will it not...
A lot of my friends with other cars have taken the helpers out of the coilovers so it drops lower. Is this safe because surely the rear spring is just going to be moving and rattling about, which then in turn could lead to the rear spring popping out if the rear axle is dropped if hitting a pot...
I have a my clio on coilovers, and dont have standard 1.2 alloys i have the sport alloys, not the turini ones, i cant lower it as much as i want as the inside of the wheel is rubbing on the bit that you twist down to lower it if i go to far down. I was just wondering what size spacers would look...

Me and my dad normally do most things on my car, so i was wondering is it easy enough to fit coilovers? or is it worth taking it to the garage and paying £100 to get it done?
To be honest with you, if you get HID just get nice white ones that look good, dont go getting the brightest you can to blind people and then they do look good mate, I got mine off ebay for £40. Not the cheapest you can get them, but you get what you pay for :)
i want to lower my 2002 mk2 so the wheel arches are sat on top of the wheel but i want to see all of the wheel so basically it is sat flush.
i have 16" cup wheels, can anyone recommend a set of coilovers to do this for me?
Cheers
I am trying to install an amp to my standard HU, I have the adaptor so that I can connect it to the stereo, but were does the remote turn on wire go? Any help would be appreciated thanks :)
I have the parrot mate, its ideal, take calls, ring people, 3 choices of music input, works well and once you have bought it you dont need any hidden extras, just plug in, fit it and away you go, great piece of kit, recommended!
