Thanks for this. No, it doesn't feel like that the handbrake is stuck on. The car behaves completely normally even when braking, it just makes a dragging sound. Power or handling is not affected at all.
I've searched for this, but can't find any issues that are the same as mine. Everything sounds fine except when braking. Sounds like something is dragging along the floor, even at slow speeds. I've checked underneath and nothing is touching the floor. Is it likely to be rear pads?
It's only...
I'm about a third of the way through and loving it so far. On Normal it's just about the right level of difficulty for me - very tense moments without being frustrating.
The 360 pad is pretty much perfect, dodgy d-pad aside. I use mine all the time on PC/Mac. However, the PS4 pad looks miles better than the PS3 one (although I've got used to it now). A larger pad, reduced deadzones, concave triggers and proper grips on the thumbsticks will definitely help.
But the retailer was going to have to pay £35 to transfer that licence. It essentially destroyed their profit in the used market. Not saying it's necessarily a bad thing, but why would they be happy about those changes?
I thought those Amazon charts only tracked orders made in the last 7 days or so? It'd make sense that the Xbox 180 had overtaken PS4 preorders in that time.
Also: lolz at Microsoft not wanting to piss off retailers - isn't that exactly what their DRM system was meant to do in the first place...
Because they've already said it's not hard-baked into the OS. I'd be seriously impressed if they managed to implement it over an update. All MS need to do is flick a switch because it's already there. ;)
I've had a think about this. I think their original plan was for the XBO to be a digital-only console - this would have sidestepped all of the issues regarding discs and selling them on, etc. However, they chickened out and shoved a drive in there at the last minute, and had to fudge some kind...
The whole system is half-baked and a complete mess. I expect a backtrack at some point. However, for a lot of people the damage is already done.
I bet Sony can't stop laughing.
