Could anybody tell me if the camshaft setting bar and the locking pin for the Clio 182 cambelt change will fit/be the same as the Clio 200 engine, as they are both f4r engines I would have thought they are the same but cant find an answer after searching.
I'm glad I bought that particular GPU, its more capable than I thought it would be, the most RAM I used on it is around 4.5gb at the minute so plenty of headroom aswell.... i hope.
Exhausts are Ktec's Janspeed cat back system, but it is de-catted, and I sort of made my own mounts at the rear as dealer ones lasted a few months and didn't want to pay ££ for uprated ones .
No I'm not a huge fan, can never be bothered to remove them, plus I don't want to take them off and the paint underneath to be visibly lighter/newer. Would it polish out if it was?
Upgraded my Gaming pc Graphics card and got rid of my horrible 1080p monitor for a much larger 1440p monitor.
Swapped these
For this GTX 1070
New monitor vs old.....shame about the pc desk lol, new black one ordered to match my colour theme.
Pc spec: Intel sky lake 6700k processor Clocked...
Managed to fit a new o/s headlight as the adjusters were broken and failed mot. Fitted new rear brake discs and pads, fixed central locking fault, fixed water leak in boot from boot stops, then cleaned and valet inside and out and fitted new Clio cup stamped boot mat and floor mats. Its been a...
Has anyone used or know of this module been used: http://www.efi-parts.co.uk/index.php?productID=338
Its supposed to fit alongside the standard ECU after being flashed by EFI (included in price with map sensor) and give the ECU added support of recognising boost above atmospheric pressure. Just...
My fuel gauge is weird too, seems to be fairly common. It would show 50miles to empty the needle was near the bottom, i was on a dual carriage way and the fuel light came on and then broke down not a minute later lol and the trip said 'miles to empty ---'. I wouldnt mind but it was 2.00am and i...
As mentioned, more than likely tracking related, ive seen loads of cars at my garage where 3-4 month old tyres are almost bald on the inner or outer edges, when we set up the tracking equiptment on them the toe is normally well out, and most had wishbones or trackrod ends fitted somewhere else...
Is your pollen filter dry? doesnt that sit up in that corner, seen a few before where the water wasnt running where it should and was running past the scuttle panel and into the pollen filter/heater box area.
Is the leak coming from too high up for it to be getting in where the door wiring plug connector comes into the car? Can you physically see it dripping in from high up or just that the floor is wet?
Hello all, just after a bit of advice.I have a 2005 Clio 182. The auto levelling motor on my o/s headlight has never seemed to work, I had the lamps out today as one of my xenon ignitors has failed, during this I found that the self levelling motor wasn't even connected, the plug on the cars...
Yeah I looked into getting one, but wont be running SLi for much longer, hopefully NVidia pull there finger out and get there Pascal GPU released this or next quarter so I can use a top end single GPU.
This years new home built gaming pc so far.
Its based on Intel's new Sky-lake 6700k processor running at a 5Ghz with a nice tweak on the Vcore, 16gb DDR4 2400mhz RAM, 256gb ssd, x2 gtx geforce gpus in SLi, all on a MSI z170 M7 board inside a NZXT h440 case. I am currently (impatiently) waiting...
Looking at the specs its a very good board, x99 chipset processors can get very costly indeed lol, that's why I went with 1151 chipset on the new skylake range in the end
That's where it started getting expensive for me, most of the decent Intel gaming oriented boards are £150+, the one I just purchased has a dial on the mobo just for overclocking which is handy.
The AMD equivalent to GTX 980/980ti would be the cards you have mentioned yes. AMD's GPU's seem to have more GDDR5 memory than equivalent NVidia cards which is annoying as I prefer NVidia lol
That's why I went for it, overclockers.co.uk have it for £330, I just paid £350 for it 5 days ago fml lmao. For gaming single core performance is quiet important as not all cores can be utilised in various scenarios, Intels single core performance beats AMD hands down, and Intels architecture is...
This is the bundle I ordered for my next build, going for a red and black theme. It just so happens that the motherboard I wanted was actually red and black as well :D...perfect.
yeah definitely but like yourself there are no water blocks available for my card unfortunately, I would like a pair of gtx980ti to be honest but il have to get them later in the year as I just blew ££££ on a new setup for Xmas, I decided to go with the Intel sky lake i7 6700k CPU which wasn't...
This is my current self built pc, Im changing from AMD to Intel on my build this Christmas which has worked out quiet expensive as im used to AMD's low prices.
For those who have said they checked there shocks and 'look fine', although this confirms its not leaking, it doesn't mean the damping is working if the internal seals are shot, the fluid just pushes past the internal seals and doesn't absorbs the bump and rebound of the spring.
When I...
I managed to get 38.5 mpg travelling from Leicester to south wales this week, I had the aircon on the whole time, and the car was loaded with suitcases and 2 passengers, not too bad for a 2.0 petrol I suppose. I can only think it would have been much better mpg if it wasn't for the m4 average...
