In kidlington there is a renault dealership, who i will ask tomorrow if they can replace it.
How much do I expect to get shafted for this?
Anyone know of any good local garages in...
Does anyone know the part number for the small disc that goes behind the rear wheel bearing on the 172? It's the part that the lipseal bears against.
I'm in the process of changing the rear discs and i've noticed that this part has an uneven groove in it. If i put it back on it's just going...
So I had the rear wheel bearing replaced when Renault replaced my rear disks. After a few weeks one of the bearings started to whine and needed replaced under warranty. A couple of months later it failed again and needed replaced. Here we are a few weeks later and the whine has returned...

Fitting new OE bearings today. They have a convex side and a flat side and I want to know which side faces uppermost. I should have remembered which way round they were when I dismantled the struts but have forgot.
My car has been suffering a droan noise when im driving, the droan is particularly bad around r/h corners. Leading me to believe it was a knackered Front Left wheel bearing (it also sounds like this is where its coming from when driving)
However I had the bearing replaced last week. The noise...

Are the savings worth buying ebay wheel bearings ( Ebay Wheel Bearing )
I've been quoted £66 for a genuine part, should i stop being a tight arse and just pay the difference? Or will this ebay one fit the bill just as well.
Going to the garage tomorrow to have it looked at and a general look around the car to see if there are any potential problems but i know one of the bearings are going, its really loud and some places are quoting £80+ to sort it. Just so i know how can i tell which wheel it is so i can check...

Got my mot coming up and the rear disks and pads are about dead. SO i went down to bullseye and got some apex one, however they havent got the bearing in the disks like the oe ones come with.
Is it going to be a pain to get the bearing out of the old disk into the new ones?
My 172 has gone through 3 sets of rear bearings in the last 9 months!
I began taking the car in for new rear pads, i decided to go for green stuff and as the fronts were groved/drilled decided to have the matching disks.
Within 100miles both bearings had given up...so badly they cracked the...
Ok so one of my rear wheel bearings has gone I think, but tbh I could also do with new rear discs anyways.
I remember reading somewhere that discs come with bearings in already or something? Or am I talking crap?
If not, is it something I can do myself? Or something worth paying to get done...
What are the normal signs of a wheel bearing on its way out or may need replacing? Or... a hub?
When I'm driving on a dual carriageway, I get quite a lot of road noise. It's started happening at lower speeds too. I first noticed it when I'm doing 75mph. If I'm doing 70, it's there but can...

However what is the difference between all the different makes?. Had an issue with a coil pack a while ago from ECP and although sposed to be for my car it didnt fit.
