02-172 - Engine type PhaseI or PhaseII

Please help, I have a 02 Clio 172 and recently tried to get the front ned geometry done. The garage did not know whether the engine was F4R PhaseI or PhaseII. DOes anyone know which is which. Alternatively if anyone can find the engine number plate that would help. I looked where the manual said it was but there is nothing there. CHEERS

Its a phase 2 the phase two cars have triangular lights. The garag should know the difference Id go elsewhere if they didnt personally.

The engine detials plate is down the front of the front of the engine below the injector cover.

Id be very worried if it wasnt there did you buy the car second hand?

it was a new car, the local dealer says they can only confirm if they look at the car so I guess I will just have to get it over to them. Cheers for the advice anyhow.
