'05 Clio (Trophy) Steering Wheel Controls

From reading around I get the impression that there's an issue trying to wire after market HUs into the factory fit steering wheel controls on mid to late '05 Clios!?!?

Has this been resolved yet!?!?!

I don't think so. I emailed InCarTec who make the adaptors again the other week but had no reply.

CarAudioDirect have also changed the description on the adaptors to show it only works on Clios up to 2004.

I wish someone would hurry up and sort it.

I emailed InCarTec yesterday, and they asked for the model of stereo being removed from the Trophy!! As I don't get mine for a couple of hours, I don't know, but as soon as I do I'll send them the info....

In the previous email I had from them they said the rule of thumb was, if the HU has "Update list" on the front then they were still working on the adaptor.

Fingers crossed it's done. Let us know how you get on please.

I've just about given up on these ever being available now the new clio is out, but you never know.

I think i'll probably just get a display and stalk from a breakers out of an earlier model and replace them. At least the adapters should work then
