making a start on my clio 01-05...

heres a photo of what mine looked like, dont hav a photo of the original but you get the jist oh minus the alloys mine had crappy hubcaps

i then put in jbl sub and amp package

mates giving it a test

wacked it on the parcel shelf

then started to put in my vibe 600w peak power 6x9's

sorted

now for the wheels

put on 17" team dynamics arnage

oh and colour coded, cheeky 2.0 silver badge and red calipers

tinted rear 3 windows aswell

getting there....

changed rear lights, to dark/clear ones

next got in a scorpion oval backbox

next is the headlights, changing them to angel eyes

Next is a clio sport interior! yeah buddey all five seats and four door cards for 160 :star:

taking old ones out and blow are the clio sport stickers tht were put on

Looks like you love your car with the amount of time and money you've spent on it!

Not to my taste, and i'm sure a few other on here will be harsher than me but just ignore them.

It's good getting to know how everything comes apart / works / and hopefully goes back together!

next on the list is lowering it, got some side skirts to put on, HID's front windows tinting, sports grill private plate, silver sports dash inserts, blue footwell lights, sport mats, black ice air freshener ha!... n whatever pops into my mind tht sounds worth while

Tbh, I'd lose the gash alloys for some smaller 15's and definitely get rid of the 2.0 badge!

Not a bad start though, needs lowering badly though lol.

yeah am from nottingham, might gt some 15's one day, but for now just a beginner so having a bash at moding this one, in a year or two gona swap to a real sport when i can afford the insurance!

This is just my opinion so don't take it to heart but to me your car just screams boy racer and looks like the sort of car you would see racing corsas round a McDonalds car park.

But, if you like it then thats the main thing, just don't expect most people on here to be paying you many compliments

That said, it looks like you've made a lot of effort with the car, just drive it sensibly and you'll be in a real sport in no time

For me. Best mod was the interior.

Unless it's a replica or has a 2.0 engine then it's kind of pointless with the badges.

yeah know what u mean just wanted a silver coloured one n happend to b tht one tht i found on ebay, but i dont really take myself too seriously so just find it kinda joke, maybe worry a few people at the lights tht cant spot a real sport (until the green light shows n i move off like a snail) aha. bt meh not to fussed tbh

get rid of the: wheels, rear lights, angel eyes, tints, 2.0L badge. keep the interior. put the amp in the boot. stealth the parcel shelf. your asking for trouble.

start again..............

lower it on springs or coilies, depends on your finances. buy some good alloys.

done.

I did exactly same thing with mine, as i just passed my test and first started out in the modding world, if you stay on here, you will notice your car change ALOT ! i can tell you put alot of effort and TLC into the car so at least it will be looked after even if a few of the mods are abit chavvy, its all about learning and trying different things.

Ok, Having had my 1.2 16v for a couple of years now, just take your time. You wont be able to insure a Sport for a good few years yet im sure, so why rush? Clio's (In my opinion) look alot better with subtle, smart mods. You seem to of spent alot of money on your car, and clearly time fitting it all. However, In my opinion, remove the sports badges and stickers. Remove the rear lights and when you have the money change those wheels, for some smart 15" then lower it. Then you'll have a nice tidy motor. Not a fan of the sound system myself, but each to there own, but your asking for a break in having them sat like that, even with tints. Nice lil motor there mate, just need to de-chav a tad and your onto a winner. Stay away for Maccy D's for Christ sake :rasp:
