heya guy's quick question !! did anybody ever do a clio 2 1.2 16v turbo conversion? how difficult would it be to do??

waste of time and money. being different is not worth blowing that sort of cash when you can have something decent under there.

you can use a standard 1.2 16v turbo engine or convert a d4f to turbo but its only 100bhp hardly a decent conversion, and its not really tunable without massive work!

You'd need a hugely solid bottom end before any real boost could be pumped through there. Having said that if you do get forged pistons, rods, crank, big oil cooler.....the works then miracles are possible.
I know a guy with a 1.3 polo G40 engine. No supercharger anymore, turbo and NOS. Runs 215bhp and 208lbft and will always manage 32+mpg on a run. Plus Alister darling can't touch him to much as it's too old to have a CAT and the displacement is only 1.3

now thats smart motoring.

thats one of the reasons i like my 1.2 so much like its cheap to run, cheap to insure and cheap to tax plus it only has 16k so it has loads of life left

liking your aspirations for your 1.2, are you actually going to stick a turbo in it?i've got all the mods you stated and was going to do a 172 conversion. where would you start to get it fitted tho??send it to a garage to fit it?
