1.2 mk1 clio engine block fit in a mk2 03 plate clio???

Car  MK1 Clio, Mk4 Polo
Just wanting to know if this block would fit in to the Mk2 clio?? the mk2 has had a 1.2 block in it but bottom end had blown up :P
