1.4 engine

i know its pointless but how much would it cost for one of my mates with an 02 clio same as mine, like model and spec but the expression to put a 1.4 engine in it that has less than say 30,000 on it, including everything that needed doing. engine will proberly sourced of ebay.

Depends if you're telling the insurance, they will absolutely slam you on it for any engine mod, prob be more to insure than a 1.6 dynamique init.
Could probably get a garage to do it for a G plus cost of engine.

£500-£1000 depending on how you do it... not much less needs changed on this conversion than you would do on a 2.0 conversion!

not worth it for the extra 20bhp (1.6 would be the one to go for if you didnt want a 2.0 since its just the same as the 1.4 really but with 10bhp and more torque extra!)

quite simply though dont do it, ive been there done that and not worth it when you add it all up keeping in mind you'll want to change the oil, plugs, airfilter, gearbox oil, cambelt, maby even clutch to name a few parts!
