A friend of mine now owns my old 1.4rt that was lowered 35mm and had a piper stainless backbox.
The problem is the centre section of the exhaust hangs low and rattles under the car against the gear box. Also it rubbs the ground when its loaded.
Hes had the backbox removed and (he thinks) the suspension raised. I dont believe that personally as its just a local garage.
Ive told him that was a waste of money and that he only needed work on the centre - has any one else had this problem and know the real reason the exhaust hangs so low?
I had that car for 3 1/2 years and its kinda gutted me that hes had that done without checking with me first. I know it inside out!!
