1.4 supercharger ?....

Hey guys,

I wanted to do an engine swap at first.
However considering the cost and the labour needed i decided i want to supercharge my 1.4.

Is there anyone driving a 1.4 supercharger? Or can tell me if it is even possible(in the sense of not braking down after a month)

It'll be an entire waste of time and far more costly than you could imagine.

Buy a fast car.

Small cubic capacity and forced induction is not good.

I've just bought a 1.4 mk3 as a run about and it's the slowest thing I've ever drove, including smaller engined cars.

I wouldn't even bother thinking about it as the engine is terrible.

Unless you can't insure a 2.0 so you're planning to charge your 1.4 and not declare it?

I did this to my 1.4 it might have set me back 10k but when you see the jaw of that smug 1.6 owners face drop it is all worth it!!
