1.6 16v Bump strips query

Ive recently installed a phat blaupunkt sound system in my car with all uprated components and two 12" subs - the problem is the bump strips on the rear panels on both side of my car vibrate like hell and make a really loud buzzing sound when i turn up the bass. Does anyone know any tricks that i can use to stop these from vibrating?

take them off, shove a load of silicone around the plastic catches, and then put them back on again. that or you could try putting some exterior sound deadening in the back - but its probably vibrating off the catches.

if you sound deadened the actual car tho, it would reduce the vibrations and hence reduce the rattling.
