Hi there, been after a set of turbines for my r5 turbo for ages and had a stroke of luck and found a set but had to buy the whole car. I got it for pennies but turns out it has had 1 lady owner, 57,000 miles on the clock and no rust so think I'm going to keep it but it has a leaky sunroof and some electrical faults like the break lights stay on! It has been sat around for 5 years and not driven. Wondering if there are any other common faults with the electrics?

Whats the colour of it? Very rare to find a rust free example now days. One done so little miles will be worth a bit once its all sorted.
Unfortunatly I can't help you on the electrical fault side of things, but the sunroof could just be a case of new seals.
Give it a full service and a cambelt change and your looking at a tidy car! Any pics? Leather interior? oh and welcome to the club!

Unfortunately doesn't have leather but the cars completely original. I'll post some pics tomorrow as only got it yesterday evening and was working today so will take some in daylight once I've given it a clean up. The heaters don't work but this is a common problem I hear and the fan doesn't cut in when up to temp, guess the motors ceased as I can here it whirring. Other than these things its a good car!! I hope!!
