1,8 16v/ williams into a r5 turbo

does anyone know if this can be done? if so do you know if it will boult straight in with gear box?

got an idea as you can tell

Ask dangerousdave mate. Think hes done it backwards though, r5 turbo into a valver.

yeah i know that an r5 turbo lump will go in a clio but will a valver lump go in a 5 turbo??

yup there has been a few on ebay lately! cant see why some one would want to do that unless there turboing the valver engine in the r5!

a few lads on the rtoc have dropped 172 lumps in there gtt's.. (some more are too i think) one lads turbocharging it so that should go very well...

ctm did one i think and the rest are diy jobs

ok cool looks like my 5's going williams power than. do i need to use clio drive shafts or use my 5 ones. or are thay the same lol.

if your wondering why im doin this i want to make my 5 difrent and i get bord waiting for the turbo to cool down befor turning off,

get a turbo timer???? and i think that you will need the driveshafts from the valver

if i fit a turbo timer i would still have to wait for the engine to stop because my alarm will go off when the engine stops.
