125Mp/h on a 1.216v

i want my1.2 16v to make 125mp/h in the speedometer......what can i do??....the car is engine stock

turn the car off.. open the protector plastic of the speedometer.. pull the pointer out, put it back on with it pointing to 60mph.. ok.. turn the car on and ~GOOOOOOOOO....

In short, you cant. To get to a real 125mph (not just on your clock) you need a dramatic increase in power that you wont get from the 1.2 16v. More importantly - even if you get the magic 125mph capability, how often will you use it??

I hardly ever drive fast, but I was going for a top speed run just this morning out of curiousity. On a totally deserted motorway, I was finding it really difficult to get over 125mph (it will go faster, but takes ages - never had a top speed yet). And thats in a tuned car with higher gearing and nearly 100bhp more than the 1.2 16v!! You see, areodynamics, wheels and gearing are just as important as power.

Its very difficult to extract significant power gains from NA engines like ours. Id be happy with the usual induction and exhaust mods to make it sound better and make it more "driveable". If youre looking beyond that, youve got to ask why not get a car that comes with - and is designed to take - the extra power youre after.

se fores para o nitro avisa tou numa guerra interior entre reprogramação e nitro.. se formos 2 talvez seja +barato..

still thinking... nitro ou repro.. the price is equivalent..repro=+10bhp and plus 500rpm, nitro=+40-50bhp and 0rpm

ben i just want 125mp/h on the clock....not real. Yesterday i did 118mp/h on the clock....and left a Mitsubishi Colt 1.3 behind....is that 7mp/h more so hard to get

orlando...nitro nunca....reprogramaçao tb já pensei mas dar tanto dinheiro por 5cv e 7nm (pk nunca vai dar mais k isso) nao sei se vale a pena

if you have money go to AutoFernandes..on mine chip+cams+filter=18-20bhp

on your i thing that it wont be less tan 10-12bhp plus 500rpm.. and i think it will go to 125mph because you will gain those 10-12 of power on high rpms..

price.. (crime) for mine 1300EUR - 260cts - 900lbs

In the right weather conditions, nice clean dry air, etc 125 on the clock is possible,

I have has !23mph and there was still a little more to come!!

God knows what it was really would need a GPS not in wartime to tell!!

But whats the point if you not really going that speed

the point is to beat some cars ..... heres in portugal weve got in the capital lisbon a bridge with 11.5miles.....there i gave a little less (verry little...like 0.8 inches) 118mp/h....i want to put the clock near 125mp/h...

my old 1.2 16v (i crashed it ) gave nearly 130.5mp/h on the clock...i was in a long downhill highway.....but i can say that at that speed the engine add no more RPM to give.....it was in 5th gear at the maximum RPM.... .... im really sorry i never took a picture
