16v bonnet

I have a Mk1 RSi and have just fitted a 16v bonnet...

The only problem i have is my strut brace......wont go under the valver bonnet

Any usefull ideas ???????

Try removing the rain catcher

I didnt fit the rain catcher...

The strut brace hits the bonnet where the rain catcher should be i think..
Hard to get my head in the engine bay when i close it...lol

Like trying to see if the light stays on in the fridge when you shut the door

Er im a little unsure how about taking the vent out to see if that helps?

Wont make any difference

The bonnet is just moulded different on the underside...
Might try a different make of strut brace !!!!!!!!!!
