Makes a world of difference. Depends which way the bolt is facing. Mine appeared to be in the wrong way and was a b**ch to get out as it kept fowling on the exhaust. had to cut the bolt off in the end. The mount is easy to do though if you have access to a ramp, 10 minute job. Put the nut on exhaust side though.
I got my dog bone mount from renault, cost £30 if I remember rightly.
I was going to go for a GSF one. When I went to pick it up I didnt want it, was made from monkey metal being a engineer I can feel qualities of materials and it was def a poor copy. Renault one is def worth the extra £12/13 IMHO.
yeah I have changed all my mounts for renault ones and find them inherintly poor. They are just too soft, I was thinking about an engine stabilizer bar that you get for minis. On them it goes from head onto a bracket on bulkhead and is like a little pressurised gas strut. Reckon one modified would be great on a valver, might look into it. Anybody else find the mounts pish.
