16v Engines and gearboxs

Is the clio 16v and R19 16v engines and gearboxes totally interchangable. ie can clio engines go in 19s and vice versa, can a clio gearbox go on a 19 engine etc.

virtually the same apart from they are mounted differently in the car(but thats easily solved),gearboxes are internally slightly different and i think the manifolds are different.there are other little differences apart from them but they wont cause much of a problem.easy enough to interchange between vehicles though.

just use diff engine mounts

19 has a larger inlet but its more squashed on the clio (smaller bay)

gearboxes are identical.

you can fit a 19 engine in a clio, no need to change manifolds.
