16v insurance -how much

ok. my insurance is up start of march and ive had a look for a few quotes as the halifax who im insured with at the mo has gone up.

im 29, 4 years ncb, fully comp , clean licence and the cheapest ive found is £365 with £150 excess from MORE THAN insurance.

anybody any ideas who i can try to get a lower quote than this??

I just done a online quote with Admiral and got £370 with £150 excess

Im 25, 8yrs ncb, fully comp with protected no claims and a clean licence.

Hes doing great prices at the moment.

He gave me a GREAT quote the other week on a 16v (20, No NCD..).. just rung him now to ask a few things, and its gone down even more.. AND, the excess has halfed and then some.. Fantastic!

I got a quote today . 24, 6 years no claims and it was £450 with £150 excess.

when i got my valver last year it was

1500 fully comp with elephant with no no claims, first policy etc!!!

this year its £900 TPFT due to a "ahem" minor incident last year and the fact im back at uni and it stays in the bloody garage at home most of the time!

i paid 960 on mitsis valver with 0ncb and 2points!i was only 18 at the time aswell!

That was with elephant but Bell direct and admiral are the same company so are similar prices!

yup, i rang phil too, was with d/line £1200 on a 1.2, 20 yrs no ncb.

phil quoted only £600 - half price

Unfortunatly, I just rung him for a quote on another car (not a Valver.. hehe) and he couldnt quote me! Ok, so Im 20 and have no NCD.. asking for a quote on a Group 17? car .. hehe.

Might have to go elsewhere.

HIC was expensive for me for some reason. Performance direct is £480 for me with some mods declaired at 23 with 6 years no claims and 3 points!
