16v Seat help

Not sure if this is the right section so if its wrong can someone move it please. Anyhow...

My seats wont clip down! It kinda looks like its the tilt mechanism because its highest position is a lot lower than my drivers seat highest position. Anyone had this problem? Please help as I dont want to pay out loads for a dealer to have a look!

they just clip into a bracket when you push them down, its easy to see it so the clip may require bending back up into position to hold the seat.

You got any ideas on how to bend an inch thick bit of metal?
