16v stood still for ages!

need info for 16v. whats best to have changed/added as its been stood for some time now.

Check the tyres are alright, check the batterys alright, perhaps put some oil in so there is *some* lubrication at the top end when you first start it up. lol

Make sure the handbrake isnt seized on, give it a good valet maybe, check all the bulbs work, errrr.... Nothing else that comes to mind at this moment in time...

How long has it been standing?

either take out the spark plugs and turn the engine over for a minute or 2, just to get oil circulating again, or just disconnect the main ht lead from the coil
Taking the spark plugs out puts less strain on the starter motor as its not having to compress the air

dunno. ill find out more on weekend. but the tax ran out 2years ago. but dont no if hed taken some out. tyres need pumping up. the batterys been disconnected, i had a lil look earlier (guys dad let me look) plenty of oil, but could do with a change. interior is mint. body just needs one hell of a clean.
