16v/willy bonnet weight

just wondering roughly how much a standard one of these weighs. Came accross this you see http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=1738 (bit pricey I know) and it got me wondering lol

i think the regular ones are around 15-20kg

Took mine off yesterday and it weighed in at 17kg. That's not including the brackets at the front and locking mechanism connected to inside the car, which could probably lose you another kilo or so.

Am probably going the fibreglass bonnet route myself as that will take me nicely over the 150 kg weight loss mark - will let you know what they are like if I get one.
