17’s Kill Valvers!





Put my 15s back on my valver this weekend as it was sunny and i was bored!

I can confirm that 15s make it so much quicker on acceleration. It seems to rev up so much quicker from low revs.

As for the handling, it makes it so much more responsive and direct! But it doesnt grip aswell at speed i must say.

Im seriously looking into selling my 17s now and gettin some 15s or 16s with low pros!

Feels like my car has an extra 10bhp!
 


Yup, ive got standards - 17s looked sweet but the handling awas absoloutely awful - it felt like a brand new car now! Also, coz one of the wheels were buckled - it bent me drive shaft! So glad i aint using em anymore!

bloody hell not much clearance on them buggers is there, ive got an RT, so explains all, but u know that steelies are the way forward, your just all in denial!!!

16s do fine on a decent drop! As in, ive got 16" mk 2 172 wheels on mine. but droppin it 60mm soon! That should fill the arches!
 


The thing with 15s is they look cheap. Other than Speedlines - there aint really many 15s i think look good on a valver other than turbines!

I cant get over speed bumps with 15s either!
 


16"s are the way to go!

Looks a lot better than the 15"s and you hardly notice the difference if you run 195/45s or similar......
