17" Buddy Club P1 rims?!

  RenaultSport clio 172 mk2
I just got the guy at the shop to check the warehouse if he has some 17" buddy clubs available, however i told him i'm going to check with clio forums before i buy them,

I have an 03 clio sport 172.
The rims have an offset of +42
And are 17x7.5

Does anyone know if these will fit the clio? will they clear the calipers? any scrubbing? I'm getting coilovers as well, so will a drop cause any scrubbing?
The guys supposed to call today so any help would be great!!

Thanks

Probably should have written "17x7.5 will it fit" in the header.. come on guys, can anyone offer any help?
Is it the tyres that are reason for scrubbing - if it scrubs at all?

Help!!

sorry i cant say like if those exact wheels will fit but this might give some idea

i have an 05 plate... mine are 16x7, offset 37 (stick out 5mm further than 42), i have it dropped to the max on colivers on the back... and pretty low ont he front... its a very very very tight fit but no rubbing, id guess the ones your on about might rub on the outside of the arches on coilovers but im sure somone else can be of better advice...

well any help is appreciated.

Thanks, If they stick out 5mm more than et 42, and the extra .5" width makes it stick out an extra 6mm compared to a 7", I'm guessing that will balance to only a 1mm difference between your 16s and my 17s...

Ohk, I'm hoping theyre very very tight because of how low you have it (would yours be more than a 60mm drop? around 70ish?) that would probably explain a bit more, as i'm probably only going to drop it about 40mm or so (australian roads are sh*t)
I'm guessing the major factor now is tyres, because with 16s, i'm assuming you can run 195? what tyres are you running?

Thanks mate, well appreciated!

Don't know about 17's but the 16x7's I have need a 2mm spacer on rears to clear calipers. Great wheels and 12kg's lighter than standard kit.
You might be better with that size.
