172/172 cup whts the major diffo

i mite be buying a clio 172 cup but i was lookin at a 172 but it was far overpriced for wht it was, and i was wondering if someone to tell me more about the diffo between them both is possible, any help wud b appreciated

try a search. but the main differences are the cup has no abs, cloth seats, no climate or air con in most cases and a few other things.

i tried a search and didnt cum up with much luck, i found out bout the abs and thts it really, and also this is the car i wana get but from wht they write about it and as they say its a cup, im not even sure if it is a cup and they have got it wrong?

ok, the search function is there, but heres a run down:

172 Cup only in Mondial Blue (last few availible in Iceberg Silver, pretty rare)
172 Cup 120KG lighter than FF
172 Cup 10mm Wider track front and rear
172 Cup (allegedly) 5mm lower, but this means nothing due to low spring tolerances.
172 Cup has cup spoiler and splitter + Turini Alloys
172 Cup has factory bench tested engine, what difference this makes is of debate, lol.

172 Cup has not got he following, which the FF does;

Aircon/Climate Control
6disc cd player
leather/alcantara seats
alcantara door cards
ESP
ABS

The last few cups were availible with aircon, but these are pretty rare.

Cup is also more expensive to insure due to lack of ESP/ABS.

I thought it was 80kg?

possibly, ive always had 120KG in my head for some reason, dont qoute me on it tho.

80KG might be the diff between the 182 and 182 cup?

172 cup is 89kg lighter (no aircon, no spare, thinner glass plus some other stuff)

20mm wider front track, 10mm wider rear (might be the other way round)

172cup is the fastest of the lot, but also the most dangerous, hundreds have been written off due to UK weather and also lack of driver skill

its a nice car, ive been to see it and stuff and its in gr8 condition, and tbh there isnt tht many near me thts worth touvhing, ive seen a few now and they all aint tht nice while this 1 i liked the second i put me eyes on it lol

Makes me feel special as i have kept mine on the road for over a year! LOL
