172/182 Bodykit`

Recently I have been seriously thinking of purchasing a 172 bodykit, which I have found for sale for £550 (which includes a front bumper, front wings, side skirts, and a rear bumper) in the same silver colour as my standard 2002 clio DCI Extreme. I was just wondering if this kit is easy to fit onto my car, as in, will I be able to fit the kit myself ? (with virtually no experience what-so-ever)

you may need arch linings and washer jets to plug the holes in the front bumper too?

Not bothered about the washer jets, as surely blanks would be easy enough to get ? I assume the arch linings should be included as I am being sold the kit as a whole...

Thanks for moving it The bodykit doesn't change the insurance at all, so if I can find out if I would be able to fit the kit myself, the only cost will be the bodykit itself..

That's pretty good tbh, usually it would bump it up as colour coding can bump up premiums! Who are you with?

The arch liners should come with but I wouldn't say they're necessary. Loadsa people run without em... In saying that I would have them though.

front and rear bumpers are easy to fit, ive never changed wings or fitted skirts but i imagine they arent too difficult... make sure you get the side skirt clips

Front wings are a b**ch to change, just time consuming

£550 seems a lot for the whole kit but I suppose if it's in the right colour it saves you £300 odd in spraying costs.

I would say the arch liners are essential, looks crap without them imo and s**t goes everywhere in the engine bay

I got one second hand 160 front and rear bumpers skirts front wings 172 ph1 it was a bit of a pain like a 6 - 7 hour job the front bumper doesn't have the same mounting points under the central air intake bit between the lights the original bumper is horizontal but the sports are vertical
