90% its probably been smashed, airbags in seats blown out, dynamique seats to replace. either that or had buckets fitted and original seats sold on then put back to "standard"

Surely that doesn't rule it out though?

We all know from experience that the average dealership can't tell their arse from their elbow.

They may well have taken it as a part-exchange thinking it's a great example of a 182 and not checked it out thoroughly enough.

I'll put my money on some fool stripping it out aka like MOFO did on here. Puts after market alloys on it etc. It getting reposessed or sold at auction after idiot hands it back to the finance company aka like MOFO did on here....

Garage tries to put it back together using parts from the parts bin hoping they get someone whos not into clios and buys it anyway.

Bet ur bottom dollar the guy who traded it in has a mate with a dynamique and he said:

"com on we'll sting arnold clark and strip out all the good bits and swap with my car, the salesman wont have a scooby!"

Eh voila (sp) he still gets the same trade in price he would have got and his mate has nice shiny wheels and a new leather interior!

If that comes out that a salesman took that in he will get his balls toed!

You would think I have done that before wouldn't ya!!

p.s he must have been rushed he left the grille!

Big iain is right, it happens loads. Its dishonest but if your trading in to a garage that is a non specialist or non renault garage for instance you can pretty much take what you want knowing that the dealership will not inspect it to much because of the chance they will loose a sale.

And they want 7k for it!

My mates selling a Black 172 ff (52) 2 owners from new 23k on the clock for £5200 because he cant afford it. He proberly take 5k for it if not abit less. Thats Dover Area / Kent
