172 clio or 2liter corsa

perfomance wise wats better as im finking of getting clio 172 as next car. but wana be able to beat most 2liter corsas or at least stay with em as ive got two mates with 2liter lumps in corsa. so wana be able to keep up with em at least. Has anyone raced corsa with 2liter lump on here soz if random question but just intrested.

Seeing a stheres no such thing as a 2 litre corsa you may as well choose the clio

172, I beat 2 x 2L Corsa at Crail and I cant drive for sh*t.

The 2.0 Corsa is a good engine conversion to do, my mate has one and its not that quick. Id go for the 172 as its all been designed to cope with the power.

2l Corsas will be quicj, prob not alot in it compared to a 172 in a stright line, but show them some corners and the 172 would swallow the corsa up

cheers guys im thinking of going for 172 more anyways cuse love handeling of clio ive had corsa before and it was let down by handeling but just wonderd wat perfomacne difference wud be like as my mates will no doubt be wanting to change me when i get clio

I know 2.0 16v Novas are very fast.

Thing about Corsas and Vauxhalls is you can pretty much stick one of their engines in with little effort.

I have seen 2.0/turbo and even 2.5 V6s in Corsas and Novas.
