172 coil pack wiring? DTA ecu...

Hello,

Anyone got any idea where i can find a wiring diagram for a Sagem coil pack from a clio 172 sport? or can you identify what the 3 wires are for from a haynes eyc? pink, cream and white.

Its 4 pin but my ecu only has 3 outputs 12v, 1&4 and 2&3...

The coil pack is a Sagem 2526078A

HOM 7700873701

Any ideas?

a- injector 1 and 4 ignition coil control (beige wire)
b - injector 2 and 3 ignition coil control (salmon wire)
c fuel pump + (green wire)
d radio interference suppressor and ignition power module (white wire)

nice one, just one question, where will i find the a,b,c & d markings?

also i dont have a green wire? is it needed?

the a,b,c,d is the numbers on the connector, in true renault style the wires may be a different colour but my 172 ones are that colour. the green wire is part of the fuel system you wont need it because it goes straigh to the standard 172 ECU and is part of the immobiliser solution.

Hello,

Right, i've wired it up as suggested and im getting a strange sparking pattern, when turning the engine over with the plugs removed so that i can see the spark they seem to give off a single spark as i start cranking, nothing whilst its cranking, then when i release the key to stop it gives off a bright spark.:dead:

Any ideas

Do you have the cylinder batches the correct way round?

Is your trigger pattern correct?

Does the ECU require a certain cranking speed before it will provide a spark/injection?

Which DTA ECU are you using? I have used the p8pro on a 172 engine we fitted to a race Spider. Coil 1 ecu pin 1, to d. Coil 2 ecu pin 20, to c. Coil 12v feed to b. Wiring is different for the e48exp. I dont have a diagram for this model ecu.
