This may sound like a silly question, but how does it work?

Not sure what its meant to display but all i ever have up is the milage. The button next to it seems to do nothing at all. Would have thought it has a milage trip?

Anyone know how to get it working?

Oh its a Mk1 172.

The button under it is a reset switch. Its the button on the end of the stalk that cycles through the options.

There is a button on the end of the indicator stick (on the right of the steering wheel), keep pressing it to cycle the options like MPG etc...
