172 Cup and 182 Non Cup Springs The Same?

Hi Guys,

I’ve done a quick search on this but didn’t have much joy.

One of the springs has snapped on my 172 cup, and I’ve been offered a 182 non cup spring, as the person believes they are the same part number.

Could anybody confirm this or not?

182cup, trophy and cup packed 182 use the same.

hmmm not sure on the above, dont think thats right! 172 cup have yellow and white markings on them.

I think there all the same fitment, but not all the same.


What thread did that come from?

I'm pretty sure thats about bolt spacing on the hubs.

all the same fitment, different ratings between some models (ie 172 cup are specific etc)
