				Hi guys I just bought a 172 cup for £550 and I am stripping it to a bare shell. The reason I am buying it is to use it for my euro projects. Lets start from the beginning. 
The previous owner needed the cam belt changed... and took it to a back yard mechanic... in effect he did it wrong... timing off... belt on wrong... tensioner on wrong... engine F*&?!d.
Now I am aware that this has bad consequences and in this case it smashed a spark plug, but it hasnt ran for very long, literally seconds. Enough to cause alot of damage. However I am going to attempt to fix the engine over time, in typical cases what is best replaced? Obviosly pistons and rings, but what else? Valves etc?
