172 cup - gear and speed

just a quick question....

whats the optimum speed / revs the 172cup do without causing damage per gear below?

1st
2nd
3rd
4th
5th

62-65 in 2nd
92-95 in 3rd
118 (?) in 4th
Whatever in 5th lol

reason i ask, is because mine came with an aftermark exahust and at 40mph sounds like the whole world gonna collapse so i really get to 50 before popping into 5th lol

just wanted to know just in case i have have to out run a commet or metorite or summit. !

Provided you don't constantly bounce off the limiter take it to the red line, yours sounds like it's barely ticking over!!

Here's a quick clip of my speedo/rev counter on a 0-100 run - I've got an R-sport ECU so go to higher rpm than a standard ECU in 1st but you can see where it gets to.

50 in 5th. Unheard of on CS.

You've got high revving diesel 330D?

I could hang onto 3rd for longer but as there's almost no torque that high in the rev range it's pointless.
