Looks great to me!! Cant wait to see pics of this climbing frame you're having built lol ...
Cheers, not following any wiring diagrams at all. Before I took the loom out I just labelled every plug/wire in the car and things like sterio/boot loom/airbag wiring+pretensioners etc etc can go. Anything to do with the clocks/lights/stalks/engine are all being left, just being careful to trace every wire to where they go before I cut them incase they run to something important! lol

Ah ok. It was just knowing renault wiring, colour schemes tend to change for live, earths etc, so I was wondering how you did it. it would be good to get a full car wiring diagram, but i've been struggling to find one (free ). I tried downloading a version of tolerance but that didn't work, so i'm still searching.
Are you planning on scrapping the OE ECU?
Jonny
yep, renault have a habit of changing wiring mid lenght (gigitty ). Bloody french
Sensible option on the build then mate. Fibre glass panels would be good, but surely you'll only do the bonnet and tailgate? Or doors also? It would be interesting to know how much difference a cut door weighs over a fibreglass one.

i've got the Erics bearing number for those bottom arms, they're better bearings than the renault sport ones and about £20 cheaper. also, GSF will do the bearings for the hubs no worries. i've replaced mine a few times.
good luck getting this lot to work and achieve what you want it too.
Well bugger me.
Full on hero suspension.
Im off to the bathroom. BRB.
Sat 9th july for testing/shakedown at Bedford nick? Team Failsport will be in attendance to do some pre-winter testing iirc ...
"from memory, the main issue is the hub, drive shaft clearance and then the fact the fronts are shorter because the subframe on the racer is modified considerably compared to OEM to allow the entire car to sit lower while maintaining correct bump steer and so on. lowering a OEM car to the same level will upset the handling and cause issues.
Nice glad those have gone to a good home. You getting them rebuilt?
