172/Cup - rattling parcel shelf

The parcel shelf (I think) in my Cup has started to have an irritating rattle. Anyone else had this? Whats the cure?

Hmmm....Renault....irritating rattle.....

My diagnosis is that the parcel shelf is probably solid as a rock and the least of your worries. Its far more likely that the whole car is vibrating around your parcel shelf.

I have this problem. Its not actually the parcel shelf I dont think - its the boot hinge.

i have 6x9 speakers in mine and they rattle all the time too...cant wait till its lowered and i wont need and ice install just listen to the shealf.....can anything be done?

Check the boot catch, came loose on my cup just needed tightning!!!

BTW, its not just that rattle, my dash on the left hand side seems to rattle a little too. Its like being back in my old 205 GTi

take the parcel shelf off, and while youre at it the back seat assembly too ..

youll hear a lot more noises then, so nothing to do with the parcel shelf!

I had that and it turned out to be the shelf rubbing on the back seat.
