172 Cup Seat Issue

The passenger seat in my car will not tilt and slide due to the cable snapping no idea how this happened was like it when I purchased it.

Any idea if there is a way to replace the cable or is it a new seat?

Yeah handle on the back you pull to tilt the seat the cable is snapped.

Think my friends brand new 55 plate lasted 2 weeks before snapping.

He hated letting people in the back anyway. A blessing.

take seat cover off and replace with a stronger bit of wire or cable or what ever it is

in my ph1 there is just an elastic bit hooked under the bottom at the back and they just pull up not sure if yours will be the same

Right I have lifted the bottom of the seat cover and can see the cable which is snapped is it possible to get the cable on its own or do I need a whole new seat?

the seats are just s**t end of. my cable aint snapped but thay are lose and rattle like mad...
