172 cup seats / dash light problems

Just changed the seats over to the recaros and my service and airbag lights are on...
Ideas anyone?
As I thought the original seats don't have airbags...

Yeah the original seats had airbags in them - that's one of the reasons they're ridiculously heavy! You'll need resistors for the the recaros to fool the airbag ecu into thinking they're still connected.

Pretty sure cup seats don't have airbags in them, just the occupancy sensors for the dash airbags. Find those sensors and tape them up or find the resistor I guess.
