172 cup turinis on a 182 ff

My friends looking to buy some turinis of a local guy . But there off a 172 cup not a 182 . They will fit right ? I was told the 172 cup wheels where less wide compared to the trophy turinis

Yeah, cup offset is 38.5, and trophy 45. Cup alloys give a bit more track width, but afaik dont scrub even when suspensions dropped a fair bit.

Cup's are wider, I have Cup Turinis on my 182 and they sit perfectly!
