After buying the car a few months ago there were a few cosmetic touches I wanted to get out the way and make the car look a lot better.

Alloys and the splitter were in terrible shape!

I wasnt happy with the state the alloys were in from the previous owner as can been seen below they were just letting it down!

They were in a bad way, so on went my old wheels while mine were away for a couple of days getting finished!

And much to daves disappointment I didnt make a thread titled new wheels!:rasp:

making the car quite jeep like.

After many an conversation with dave of matt black, grey, silver blah blah, I went with a Titanium colour that has a flake through it when the sun shines:

Not the best picture had to hurry to get them on and get to work that day and no sun!

Were done by Ace Performance in Carnwath highly recommend the guy, plus he has a 800bhp Escort Cossie and a 1000bhp
Skyline so was good chatting to him.

And as you can see added a bit of colour to the calipers which some may like others wont each to their own!

Then to the splitter well it was cracked badly and hanging off the bumper really annoying me:

After a bit of metal added to it and bit of rivetting, a touch of black paint it was ten times better and will do till I get a new one:

And how she sits now not the best pictures I appologise as was on the n97 and in need of a good clean after its daily trips to hamilton
but you get the jist!

  Jagggg...missing the 182!
this will sound rude, but youve got a 172 cup, and your running on 'marangoni' tyres?

It cost a little more than I wanted £240 but the convience of just being 10mins up the road and he had been recommended by a few local people. That was balanced and everything.

And the finish on them is superb pictures really dont do it justice as the sun went away unfortunately!

I havent fixed everything the previous owner done, one step at a time but yer on the list when I have spare cash. Both front tyres are crap budget and backs are conti's

Looks nice, lowering required though (I saw that you have it lined up to do)

Good stuff.

agreed it totally needs it, but belts first this month then start saving again for suspension.

Unsure to go for a temp fix of sportlines then save for coilovers or just wait for coilovers. Dave will be back to say sportlines lol!

As i say, i love the look of clios on the deck, but i think for our roads sportlines go as low as you need for the looks, but high enough to enjoy a good blast around the b roads.

Think Biohzrds Mk3 down the country lanes ;)

I liked the fact I was guessing whether his exhaust would come off and hit us! ;)
