172 Decat silenced?

Will it throw any warnin lights up?

I got a silenced one on mine, not thrown any lights on and I have had it on for 4 months or so. I just tied up the post cat lambda. That looks good though, go for it!

Yeah, I know it says 6-7bhp gain but did you actually feel a gain when u put yours on?

I cant excatly say i can feel 7bhp because i dont know what i feels like, but you will notice a hell of a difference with the decat,
I put my cat back on for an mot and the car felt so boring and lifeless! it pulls much better lower down and just in gereral the whole car feel so much more potent......

Get silenced.
No difference to performance what so ever over a unsilenced one country to what a few think and if its matched to a decent exhaust with a 2.5 inch straight through bore and out that will be plenty loud enough for everyday use

Power gains werent really that noticable tbh but seems to rev more freely. couldnt have done with an unsilenced one my exhaust has already half deafened me as it is.

Silenced is 'straight through' too. You can still a roll a ball from one end to the other without it getting stuck

Only difference is if you were to look through the pipe of a silenced the internal walls are made out of perforated holes, where as the non silenced is just piping.
