172 engine swap

hi,

ive got a 1994 clio RSI 1.8 8v .

the engine is about to die soon and i toyed with the

idea of puting a clio 172 engine in it.

did anyone ever did such thing?

ill be happy to have some other ideas if its not posible...

Im pretty sure youd be the first. I cant see you fitting it in to be honest. The 172 has a pretty cramped bay, and the mk1 clios must be a quite a bit smaller?.

The current trend is turbo valver engines, or R5 GTT conversions.
