172 Exhaust manifold

i assume you can remove the manifold without taking the engine out just by taking the plenum off?

i wouldnt usually but you know the "XAP" box under the scuttle? it keeps getting to hot meaning the dash wont work and the car wont start i was gona wrap the mani and stick some heat sheiding on the bulkhead

could do but it would bean extending about 8 wires gona try the sheilding and wrapping first and see how that goes. you ever wrapped a mani before? how much wrapdo i need?

Why not get it ceramic coated? mine is wrapped on the cup racer atm but im going to get it coated because wrap looks untidy after a while and its a bit of a fire hazzard when mixed with oil.
