172 full fat wheels on a dynamic,

  Punto Evo Abarth
hey im looking at getting some 172 full fat wheels to put on my 1.6 dynamic (then lower it) i wanted to know if,

1. The wheels would fit straight on and not stick out of the arches
2. Will it slow my car down?
3. Will it handle like s**t? lol

Thanks loads for your help :)

  Breaking A 172 Replica
Handles worse (IMO) but unless you are a keen driver I doubt you'd notice.

Wheels will sit further in the arches. A 10mm spacer is advisable.

Will not slow your car down noticeably. The speedo speed may be slightly lower, but thats just due to the larger rolling radius.

but if i put some smaller tyres on will the wheel be same size? just say your breaking a replica, do you have the spacer and wheels, if so how much you after? also do you have the bump strips. thanks

The tyres are already lower profile than the 15's on a dynamique

172 wheels usually have 45 profiles on
Dynamique wheels usually 55 profiles

The difference in the rolling radius is tiny, the ride quality will be far more noticable due to the lower profiles
