172 jms set up matched inlets remap v6 airbox will itg maxogen work same or better?

basically herd and like th look of the itg maxogen, tempted to get rid of the v6 jms induction kit and swap them over, does anybody know if my car will loose power as mapped to that set up of will stay the same as a good performance product thanks ??

Unjustified expense to me mate, looks nice, but will make no difference

yeah i know but what i need to know is will it effect performace i dont want to decrease it ? no way to tell untill i drive it surely?

If your cars has been mapped to a specific setup, changing it will most likely have negative effects.

but no one can 100% confirm that? if someone on here has done this let me know or similar ?

You won't prove it unless you RR before and after (can't imagine anyone has gone to the trouble ). If the change in induction adjusts pressures etc there will be a difference either way maybe, but I doubt you would notice driving it. If it's mapped to your setup that will be optimal until you change and have it mapped again.

unless your car was actually mapped on the dyno to that specific set of mods, then it will have been a generic map, the same as everyone else gets

meaning if i put any filter induction kit on it shudnt change danny ? ad generic meaning suitible to all airboxes?

I fitted mine last Saturday, got one off Kev from Kam Racing, he made me a great price for the last in stock.
Just wanted to say its a far cry from the old good v6 box, the throttle feels much more responsive than with stock set up, not to mention it looks and sounds stunning.
Forget that laggy feeling on low revs typical of the v6 aibox, it's first time my car responds positively to an induction kit before remapping.
I LOVE IT!
