  clio williams, Ph1 172

I like em mate.

You got any side shot pics? I think it could be lower though. would make it look even better.

Your car looks tidy mate, has it had much paint?

sorry ...........but the offset seems all wrong

wheels dont seem to be anywhere near filling the arches.......

looks ok other than that tho but a valver neeeeeeds its arches filling and altho they are a nice rim i dont think theyre up to the job

all IMHO

nice matey - more impressed with the condition of ya motor though, looks mint! Like the look of the rideheight aswell, 50mm drop at the back?

Yeah the newer Clios run a big Vauxhall style offset of 40-something! SO spacers definitely needed and also a big drop should be the order of the day. Once you cant see the tops of the tyres, those rims will look quality.

wheels aint to shabby either! :D

I really need to sort my car looking a little dull at the mo!

all i can say mate is .........be very fukkin careful with spacers.....after a bad experience with spacing 10" rims so theyd fit over the calipers on my mini id advise against them.

altho 12mm isnt that much really

cheers

I had a set of spacers crack on me on my Mini once. Scary moment. I did have about 2 or 3 sets on there though...

pete bann - ty, 35 front, 30 back.

I have no intentions to drop it any further, its to hard to live with already! youve all made me smile with the "DROP IT, DROP IT, DROP IT" comments thou:)

The spacers ive been looking at (through wheel mania) are from Germany, and have the hub locaters machined back into them (specific for the clio). They aint the cheapest but should be nice and safe. Problem is there going to take 2 weeks to get hold of!

Cant see my car comming out much for the rest of the year anyway, so not to much of a problem.

What is it you find hard about a 35mm drop? It was the best thing I ever did to my valver in the early days of my mods.

That looks brilliant! Sharp, modern look. Agree about getting the spacers, but I dont really think it needs dropping any further. Its a good thing the wheels are mint - otherwise they might have let the rest of the car down!

Mate - you mist be a mind reader!! Just yesterday when I was washing me motor I wondered if new renault wheels would look any good on mine! They look good mate, not sure if itd suit my white one or not tho...
What area are you in? Just that I saw a red ps1 16v round the corner from me the other day and that had body coloured grill and bits like yours. Didnt see the wheels tho...

ChavyBoy - :p

Dazz F - ty they where taken in Redditch, my driving stomping ground!

telford_mike - excellent ty

philglover - I wanted to be the first to do it! LOL i live in Halesowen, West Mids.

They look well nice mate. I personally dont think that car needs lowering any more, like everyone else says though they just need spacing a bit
