172 Oil change question....

Car  Clio 172 PH2
I'm going to do an oil change on my 172 at the weekend. I've got a trolley jack and two axle stands to jack the front of the car up but then the car will not be level. Is it necessary to have the car level or is the sump plug at the back which will allow all the oil to run out??

Cheers
Chris

will be fine, you'll never get 100% of the oil out anyway, there will be about 50ml in the bottom of the sump

just warm the engine up before you drop the oil out

I jack mine up, undo the plug then let it down again till all the oils out. I take it you already have an 8mm sump plug key. :)

Sump plug key?? Will an 8mm spanner/socket do?

Also what do you drain into? Gona be hard to get bucket or drum underneath!

Yeah no need to jack it up and as said make sure the engine is warm when you drain it and most of the oil will come out
