172 Ph1 Exhaust, original only just gone, options?

  172 Ph1
Sooooo the original exhaust on the ph1 172 has finally gone :p :D

I want to keep it as standard as possible, but the original exhausts weren't really built to last - granted mine did but from what i'm reading otherwise. I don't want extra noise from the back.

What should I be looking at? How much is this going to cost me? There's a "BTB exhaust" in the parts section, what are they like? The car is now ditched at my parents home in Liverpool whilst I live i Edinburgh, so I need to organise it being fitted down there whilst i'm not around I guess. So another factor is whatever I do needs to be parents friendly as i'll be hands off all this.

Thankfully I was literally a few miles away when the back box went. :)

  A terrible one
I've got a BTB on mine. Not going to deny, it noisier than standard but is exceptionally well made and at the price advertised is good value compared to what they cost new. if you are going stainless I would also budget in all new hangers. Good luck with whatever you choose.

BTB is about the best off the shelf quality wise imo and they do an even quieter one as well.

<3'd my BTB.

Great sound, fitted lovely. Only downside is they're not cheap. Even second hand, they're £350~ vs £150-200 for a K-tec stealth. Which are also perfectly adequate TBH
